Clinic Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes 1h break at noon)
Compensation: $19 per hour. Contributions towards a choice of benefits packages including health and retirement options

Job Description: We are seeking an efficient and friendly Front Office Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our clinic. The successful candidate will manage all front office activities with a focus on the patient experience. In addition flexible duties as a Medical assistant are sought.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and check-in patients, manage patient flow, Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.
- Administrative Duties: Manage daily bookings, scheduling of patients, and coordination of procedures including obtaining prior authorizations, and booking investigations and surgeries, Handle office opening and closing procedures, including security (locking/unlocking). Be assigned office duties as they arise
- Documentation and Compliance: Complete necessary paperwork including workers’ compensation, disability, and medico-legal documents.
- Flexible Work Arrangements: On Tuesday mornings and Wednesdays or when other clinics are canceled, work can be remote unless urgent patient care is required. Must be available to come into the clinic if necessary, must have access to a computer and the EHR.
- Patient Care Support: Manage some solo patient encounters for walk-ins, including basic wound care, dressing changes, and wound assessments under remote supervision via telehealth and photography. Assist in medical assistant duties as needed, including rooming patients.
Qualifications: Excellent organizational and communication skill. Experience in a medical office setting or similar administrative role preferred. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Medical Assistant experience preferred. Proficiency in using medical scheduling software. Comfortable with remote work tools for telehealth services. Must be reliable, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
